What it is

Ipamorelin is a selective ghrelin-receptor (GHS-R) agonist — a growth-hormone secretagogue often paired with a GHRH analog (see CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin).

Proposed mechanism

Activating GHS-R triggers a pulse of growth-hormone release; ipamorelin is valued in research for being relatively selective (little effect on cortisol/prolactin).1
