What it is

AHK-Cu is a copper-binding tripeptide (alanine-histidine-lysine + Cu) related to GHK-Cu, studied mainly for hair-follicle and skin effects in cosmetics.

Proposed mechanism

Like other copper peptides it is proposed to support angiogenesis and growth-factor signaling around hair follicles; most data are topical/cosmetic.1
